This past week I learned that my mother was getting one of those panic buttons to wear around her neck in case she should fall.  Simply press the button and help would arrive. 

I am not sure that she really needs this, but she told me that my dad thought it was a good idea.  I had heard from dad that she had requested one.  My wife Kelly attended a baby shower today, she took my mother with her.  Mom showed the other shower participants her new panic button explaining the them that my brothers and I thought she should have one.

We will have to see how this goes.
